The Forest is a vast range of land, in an unknown location. The plane you fly on crashes in a different area every time the game is restarted. There are deciduous and coniferous forests throughout the game, along with rivers, lakes, small mountains, and beaches.
The forest is the primary location to find logs, branches, berries and forest creatures.
